Reactive Blue 49

Chemical Properties

Dark blue powder. Easily soluble in water, solubility in water is 200g/L (20℃), solubility in water at 50℃ is more than 200g/L. It is reddish blue in concentrated sulfuric acid; blue in dilute alkali solution.

Uses

Reactive Blue 49 is used for dyeing cotton and viscose fibers, as well as printing on their fabrics. It exhibits excellent color fastness and is an important blue dye.

Preparation

1-Amino-4-bromo-9,10-dioxo-9,10-dihydroanthracene-2-sulfonic acid and 3,5-Diamino-2,4,6-trimethylbenzenesulfonic acidcondensation, again with 2,4,6-Trichloro-1,3,5-triazine condensation, and finally 3-Aminobenzenesulfonic acid condensation.

Properties and Applications

red light blue. Blue powder, the strong sulfuric acid for red light blue; In a dilute alkali solution to blue. In 20 ℃ solubility of 200 g/L; 50 ℃ when more than 200 g/L solubility. The dyed fabric for the red light blue light. The reactive dyes low, low affinity, solid color rate is 60%. Neutral and alkaline are not suitable for white.
