Applications
Cyclophilin-F antibody has been tested by ELISA, Western blot and immunohistochemistry analysis to assure specificity and reactivity. Recommended dilution range for Western blot is 1:500~1:1,000 and immunohistochemistry analysis is 1:50~100. Recommended
Immunogen
Anti-human Cyclophilin-F mAb is derived from hybridization of mouse F0 myeloma cells with spleen cells from BALB/c mice immunized with recombinant human Cyclophilin-F amino acids 30-207 purified from E. coli.
Background
PPIF is a part of the peptidyl-prolyl cis-trans isomerase (PPIase) family. PPIF accelerates the folding of proteins. It catalyzes the cis-trans isomerization of proline imidic peptide bonds in oligopeptides. PPIF is key component of the mitochondrial permeability transition pore in the inner mitochondrial membrane. Activation of this pore is thought to be involved in the induction of apoptotic and necrotic cell death.
