Uses

1-Methyl-4-(4,4,5,5-tetramethyl-1,3,2-dioxaborolan-2-yl)-1H-Imidazole is an intermediate used to prepare (aminoaryl)(benzyloxy)pyridines as potential antitumor agents. It is also used to synthesize 5H-benzo[4,5]cyclohepta[1,2-b]pyridin-5-one (MK-2461) analogs as inhibitors of c-Met kinase for the treatment of cancer.
