7-hydroxy-N,N,2-triMethyl-3-tosyl-3H-benzo[d]iMidazole-5-carboxaMide is mainly used in organic synthesis or pharmaceutical backbone materials. It can be used in the synthesis of benzimidazole derivatives as selective acid pump inhibitors for the treatment of conditions with antagonistic activity mediated by the acid pump, such as gastrointestinal disorders, gastro-oesophageal disorders, gastro-oesophageal reflux disease (GERD), laryngo-pharyngeal reflux disease, peptic ulcers, gastric ulcers, duodenal ulcers, and others.
