Description
CB-
86 is a resorcinol-
anandamide hybrid compound that acts as a partial agonist for the central cannabinoid (CB
1) receptor and a neutral antagonist for the peripheral cannabinoid (CB
2) receptor with K
i values of 5.6 and 7.9 nM, respectively.
1 Its demonstrated potency is similar to that of WIN 55,212-
2 (K
i = 21 and 2.1 nM for CB
1 and CB
2, respectively).
1 CB-
86 (1 mg/kg) exhibits antinociceptive effects in mice treated with formalin.
