Uses
Liposomal CoQ10 (L-CoQ10) is an endogenous cellular antioxidant, and although coenzyme q10 has not been approved as a drug by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, it is widely used in dietary supplements
[1]. Studies have shown that cosmetic applications of Coenzyme Q10 have demonstrated its ability to reduce photoaging and correspondingly reduce the depth of wrinkles
[2]. In addition, L-CoQ10 supplementation may antagonise hepatotoxicity induced by acetaminophen (PCM) overdose by attenuating oxidative stress, inflammation and apoptosis
[3].
