Description
1-Myristoyl-2-oleoyl-3-docosanoyl-
rac-glycerol is a triacylglycerol that contains myristic acid at the
sn-1 position, oleic acid at the
sn-2 position, and docosanoic acid at the
sn-3 position. It has been used as a reagent to study the regioselectivity of thermal chlorination reactions between triacylglycerols and organochlorines that result in the formation of monochloropropanediol (MCPD) diesters.
