Uses
Acid Black 172 is a water-soluble dye used for leather dying. Acid Black 172 is a water pollutant, and its decolourization has been coupled with bioelectricity generation by Aspergillus niger.
Preparation
4-Amino-3-hydroxynaphthalene-1-sulfonic acid diazo, and Naphthalen-2-ol coupling, and then translate into 1:2 chromium complex.
