Description
XTT is a cell-
impermeable, negatively charged tetrazolium dye that produces a water-
soluble formazan when reduced at the cell surface by cellular-
derived NADH and an electron mediator. It is frequently used in colorimetric assays to measure cell proliferation, cytotoxicity, and apoptosis.
