N-Formylpropranolol is an impurity of propranolol (CAS: 525-66-6). β?Adrenergic blocker. Antihypertensive; antianginal; antiarrhythmic (class II). It is used in preparation of calcium blockers and β-blockers. Also, used in preparation of Indole and naphthalene derivatives.
