Uses

Arginine Phosphate is the base of L-Arginine (A769505) which is an essential amino acid for human development and a precursor for nitric oxide (1,2,3). Ammonia detoxicant (hepatic failure); diagnostic aid (pituitary function). A study suggested that combining L-arginine-insulin may be a novel method to ameliorate ischemia-reperfusion injury (3).
