naphtha petroleum, heavy polymerisation is a complex combination of hydrocarbons produced by the catalytic polymerization of a mixture rich in propylene. It consists predominantly of olefinic hydrocarbons having carbon numbers predominantly in the range of C9 through C13 and boiling in the range of approximately 135.degree.C to 315.degree.C (275.degree.F to 600.degree.F).
