Anti-Kinesin family member 11 antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene KIF11 in humans. The gene may also be known as Eg5, HKSP, KNSL1, MCLMR, kinesin-like protein KIF11, and TR-interacting protein 5. Structurally, the protein is reported to be 119.2 kilodaltons in mass. Based on gene name, plant, canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat orthologs may also be found.
