Paryfree is a halogen-free variant of Parylene. It replaces one or more hydrogen atoms in the Parylene N dimer using non-halogenated groups. This halogen-free variant offers the advanced barrier properties of Parylene C, as well as improved mechanical and electrical properties compared to other commercially available Parylene.ParyFree optimises a key combination of barrier, electrical and mechanical properties to provide robust protection against moisture, water, and corrosive solvents and gases, while complying with industry-specific halogen-free requirements.
Uses
Paryfree forms ultra-thin, uniform, pinhole-free conformal coatings through a vapour phase deposition process. Films are formed at the molecular level to completely encapsulate components and devices. It provides waterproof protection in electronic devices and components.
