Description
Liposomal vitamin C is a highly effective antioxidant. The results of clinical studies showed that the bioavailability of oral liposomal vitamin C is 1.77 times higher than that of non-liposomal vitamin C. Higher values of Cmax, AUC0-t and AUC0-∞ were associated with non-liposomal vitamin C due to liposomal encapsulation. No adverse events were reported. This shows that liposome-encapsulated vitamin C has a regular morphology, uniform particle size, high efficiency and high bioavailability
[1].
Uses
Liposomal vitamin C is used as a dietary supplement for its antioxidant, free radical scavenging, collagen production boosting and immunity enhancing benefits.
