Chemical Properties

White or off-white crystals. O-chloroaniline is light yellow liquid. Boiling point 208.8℃; Melting point -14℃ (α), -1.9℃ (β); Relative density 1.2125 (20/4℃); Refractive index 1.5889; Flash point 97℃. O-chloroaniline is highly toxic, hemolytic, and can cause bladder cancer. Oral LD50 256mg/kg in mice.
