Description
Although strontium monostannide, SrSn, has been
synthesized, it has not been studied intensely. SrSn is
a thermoelectric material but its Seebeck coefficient is
lower than other known thermoelectrics. The highest
value obtained was about 7×10
-5/K.
SrSn is orthorhombic with cell parameters of:
a = 5.045 ? , b = 12.04 ? , c = 4.494 ? , α=90°,β= 90°,
γ= 90°,cell volume = 272.97 ? 3, d = 5.02 g/cc, Z = 4.
