Uses
Alternariol 3-Sulfate Ammonium Salt is the ammonium salt of a sulfate derivative of Alternariol (A575760) which is an alternaria mycotoxin and genotoxin, found in common edible crops. Alternariol inhibits the activity of various DNA-topoisomerases, increasing the rate of DNA strand breaks. Alternariol 3- Sulfate Ammonium Salt is currently suspected of being formed during metabolism in contaminated plants.
