Uses

tert-butyl phenylacetate (cas# 16537-09-0) is a useful research chemical. It is used in the chemoselective preparation of keto(alkoxy)esters via tert-butyldimethyl[bis(trifluoromesyl)amino]silane-catalyzed cross-Claisen condensation of keto esters with (alkoxy)silyl ketene acetals.
