Production Methods
The commercial production process of pyramat is not documented in open literature. However, based on its published structure its former commercial production would have followed the same general approach used for other heterocyclic carbamate insecticides: preparation of the substituted pyrimidinyl alcohol or chloride precursor, carbamoylation with dimethylcarbamoyl chloride or an equivalent reagent under controlled conditions, and subsequent purification to technical grade before formulation.
