α-Glycerophosphoric Acid-13C3 DicyclohexylaMMoniuM Salt is produced from Glycerol, the triose sugar backbone of triglycerides and glycerophospholipids, by the enzyme glycerol kinase. α-Glycerophosphoric Acid-13C3 DicyclohexylaMMoniuM Salt is used to rapidly regenerate NAD+ in brain and skeletal muscle cells of mammals. The α-Glycerophosphoric Acid-13C3 DicyclohexylaMMoniuM Salt is the active enantiomer.
