Polyvinyl ethers exist in several forms varyingfrom soft, balsamlike semisolids to tough, rubberymasses, all of which are readily solublein organic solvents. Polymers of the alkyl vinylethers are used in adhesive formulations andas softening or flexibilizing agents for otherpolymers.
