7-Amino-6-[6-(4-methyl-1-piperazinyl)-1H-benzimidazol-2-yl]-thieno[3,2-b]pyridin-5(4H)-one is a HPK1 kinase inhibitor and has been shown to have in vivo antitumor activity. HPK1 kinase has been identified as a novel drug target for antitumor immunotherapy, as this kinase is involved in the extracellular-signaling pathways that inhibit the T-cell immuno antitumor response.
