3,4-Dihydro-8-methoxy-isoquinoline Hydrochloride is derived from 2-Methoxybenzaldehyde (M260980), which is used in the synthesis of stilbene and dihydrostilbene derivatives as potential anticancer agents. Also it is used in the synthesis of highly functionalized pyrrolidines as potent angiotensin converting enzyme inhibitors.
