(4-Bromo-2-(hydroxymethyl)phenyl)(4-fluorophenyl-d4)methanone is an intermediate in the synthesis of Citalopram-d4 Hydrobromide, the labeled analogue of Citalopram Hydrobromide Salt (C505000), an inhibitor of serotonin (5-HT) uptake. Used as an antidepressant.
