Uses

2-Methyl-1,2-di-4-pyridinyl-1-propanone is an analog of Metyrapone (M338990). Studies show that 2-Methyl-1,2-di-4-pyridinyl-1-propanone induced blockage of 18-hydroxylation in the adrenal cortex of rats which increased the activity in the zona glomerulosa and of the mineralocorticoids.
