ChEBI: Naphthalene blue black CS is an organic sodium salt resulting from the formal condensation of naphthalene blue black CS (acid form) with two equivalents of sodium hydroxide. Used for staining fibrin. It has a role as a histological dye and a fluorochrome. It contains a 4-amino-5-hydroxy-3-[(4-nitrophenyl)diazenyl]-6-[(4-sulfonatophenyl)diazenyl]naphthalene-2,7-disulfonate.
