General Description
TRIM31 is a protein containing zinc-binding, B-box type, RING, and coiled-coil domains. Alterations in TRIM31 gene have been implicated in attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), whereas the changes in protein levels have been linked to gastric and non-small cell lung cancers.
Rabbit Anti-TRIM31 antibody recognizes human, bovine, and mouse TRIM31.
Biochem/physiol Actions
TRIM31 encodes for a member of the tripartite motif (TRIM) family. The TRIM motif includes three zinc-binding domains, a RING, a B-box type 1 and a B-box type 2, and a coiled-coil region. The protein localizes to both the cytoplasm and the nucleus.
