1,1,5,5-Tetramethyl-2-(prop-1-en-2-yl)-3-(2,2,4-trimethylpentyl)cyclohexane + 1,1,5,5-Tetramethyl-3-(2,2,4-trimethylpentyl)-2-vinylidenecyclohexane is a mixture of 1,1,5,5-Tetramethyl-2-(prop-1-en-2-yl)-3-(2,2,4-trimethylpentyl)cyclohexane and its byproduct 1,1,5,5-Tetramethyl-3-(2,2,4-trimethylpentyl)-2-vinylidenecyclohexane. 1,1,5,5-Tetramethyl-2-(prop-1-en-2-yl)-3-(2,2,4-trimethylpentyl)cyclohexane is an oligomer for the preparation of butyl rubber and in the copolymerization of isoprene.
