Purification Methods
Suspend it in trifluoroacetic acid and evaporate it on a steam bath a couple of times. The residue is then dried in vacuum (40-80o) to give a brown powder. It is hygroscopic. [Stephenson et al. J Chem Soc 3632 1965, Trost & Metzner J Am Chem Soc 102 3572 1980.]
