8-Bromo-7-ethyl-3,7-dihydro-3-methyl-1H-purine-2,6-dione, is a substituted derivative of of Xanthine (X499950), found in animal organs, yeast, potatoes, coffee beans, tea. This drug can be used to relax and widen certain breathing passages of the lungs. It is also shown that a large number of derivatives have adenoside receptor antagonist properties.
