Synthesis
1,4-Dihydroxy-5,8-bis(phenylamino)
anthraquinone, is prepared
from 5,8-dichloro-1,4-dihydroxyanthraquinone
and aniline or from leuco-tetrahydroxyanthraquinone
and aniline in water or in
pure aniline with the addition of boric
acid.
