Uses
4-Dimethylaminobutyric Acid N-Oxide-d12 is derived from γ-Aminobutyric Acid-d6 (A602922), which is the isotope labelled analog of γ-Aminobutyric Acid (A602920); an important inhibitory neurotransmitter. Foods contain γ-Aminobutyric Acid (GABA) at an amount that shows immediate effect of suppressing autonomic nerve activity related to blood pressure increase. γ-Aminobutyric Acid reacts with isothiocyanates to produce thioureas which have antifungal activity.
