Description
A further piperidine type alkaloid present in Sedum acre L., this base is dextrorotatory with [α]
D + 17.1 ° (c 1. 23, EtOH). The phenylisocyanate derivative has been prepared as colourless crystals, m.p. 118-9°C. The structure has been established as (+ )-I-(2-piperidyl)-2-propanol.
