AO-1535 is a semisynthetic monoglycosylceramide derived from O-glycosilated sphingosine. It has been shown to inhibit superoxide production by macrophages suggesting a potential clinical application of AO 1535 in the treatment of inflammatory dermatoses.
Uses
AO-1535 is a semisynthetic monoglycosylceramide that inhibits the production of reactive oxygen intermediates in human monocytes and macrophages stimulated by phorbol ester and chemotactic tetrapeptide. AO-1535 can be used for the research of inflammatory dermatoses[1].
