Definition
Heptene, hydroformylation products is a complex combination of hydrocarbons produced by the hydroformylation of heptene. It consists predominantly of C7 olefins and paraffins, C8 alcohols and aldehydes, and C24 acetals and boils in the range of approximately 85.degree.C to 385.degree.C (185.degree.F to 725.degree.F).
