The reaction was carried out according to the method described in Example 130b in the presence of 10% palladium-carbon catalyst (50% wet, 160 mg) using compound 293a (CAS: 107945-66-4, 800 mg, 6.25 mmol) as starting material to afford the target product 1-methyl-1H-1 ,2,3-triazol-4-amine (293b) in 98% yield (600 mg, yellow solid). The structure of the product was confirmed by 1H NMR (500 MHz, CDCl3): δ 6.91 (s, 1H), 3.97 (s, 3H), 3.65 (br s, 2H).
