Raffinates (petroleum), heavy naphthenic distillate decarbonization is a complex combination of hydrocarbons obtained as the solvent insoluble fraction from C5 - C7 solvent decarbonization of a heavy naphthenic distillate. It consists predominantly of aromatic hydrocarbons having carbon numbers predominantly in the range of C20 through C50.
