Industrial uses
Fluoroelastomers are basically copolymers of vinylidenefluoride and hexafluoropropylene.
Because of their fluorine content, they arethe most chemically resistant of the elastomersand also have good properties under extremesof temperature conditions. They are useful inthe aircraft, automotive, and industrial areas.
