Solvent Orange 14 is an orange dye. Its series of products, such as Solvent orange 60 (HY-D1177), has been used in dyeing applications of plastic materials.

4-(Phenyldiazenyl)benzenamine diazotization, and Naphthalen-1-amine coupling.
Properties and Applications
dark red light orange. Insoluble in water, soluble in ethanol, acetone and benzene. In concentrated sulfuric acid to orange, dilution after yellow orange.
