Occurrence A further alkaloid isolated from Sciadontenia toxifera, scidaoline crystallizes as colourless needles from CHCl3-Me2CO and is dextrorotatory with a specific rotation of [α]D22 +46° (c 0.46, CHCl3). The acetate has been prepared as colourless rods with m.p. 236-237℃.
