1-Methyllysergol-d3 is an intermediate in synthesizing 10a-Methoxy-1-methyl-d3-9,10-dihydrolysergol (M262297), which is a labeled analogue of 10a-Methoxy-1-methyl-9,10-dihydrolysergol (M262295), a nicergoline (N394550) metabolite that has been shown to have antioxidant activity, preventing glutathione (GSH) depletion and lipid peroxidation; thus it has shown potential as treatment of neuroleptic-induced side effects.
