N,N-Dimethyl-idarubicin, an Idarubicin (HY-17381) derivative, is a potent histone evictor which does not induce DNA double-strand breaks. N,N-Dimethyl-idarubicin, an anthracycline, is an effective cytotoxic agent for ABCB1-overexpressing, Doxorubicin-resistant cells[1].
