The commercial production process of nitrilacarb is not documented in open literature. However, based on its published structure its former commercial production would have followed the same general sequence used for other oxime carbamates: preparation of the substituted nitrile precursor, formation of the oxime functionality under controlled condensation conditions, and subsequent carbamoylation to introduce the methylcarbamate group. Technical grade material would then have been purified and stabilised before formulation.
