dark red light orange and brown. Soluble in ethanol, acetone and benzene. In concentrated sulfuric acid to red light brown, dilution after dark yellow, red brown precipitation; In concentrated sodium hydroxide solution insoluble. Used for oil, paraffin wax, cellulose and synthetic resin paint color.
