Description
17(S)-HDHA-d
5 is intended for use as an internal standard for the quantification of 17(S)-HDHA by GC- or LC-MS. (±)17-HDHA is formed
via autooxidation of docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) .
1 17(S)-HDHA is formed from DHA by 15-lipoxygenase (15-LO) and is a precursor in the formation of 17(S)-resolvin D1 .
2 17(R)-HDHA is formed by aspirin-acetylated COX-2-mediated oxidation of DHA and is a precursor in the formation 17(R)-resolvin D1 .
