ALK5-IN-6 is a potent inhibitor of ALK5. Transforming growth factor beta (TGF-β) is a multifunctional cytokine that is involved in regulating cell proliferation, differentiation and apoptosis through complex receptor signaling pathways on the cell surface in an autocrine, paracrine and endocrine manner.
