Imidodiphosphoric Acid Tetrasodium Salt, inhibits the precipitation and dissolution of calcium phosphate in vitro. It is also a polyphosphate with imino group used as chemical fertilizers and flame proof materials.

When anhydrous disodium monoamidophosphate is heated in vacuum to 210°C, anhydrous tetrasodium imidodiphosphate isformed (Klement and Biberacher):
