Biological Activity
DSPE PEG(2000)-N-Cy5 is used in the preparation of folic acid and Cy5 modified red blood cells (RBCs) vesicles (FRVs). DSPE PEG(2000)-N-Cy5 is used to demonstrate the modification of RBCs membrane with folic acid. After mixing DSPE PEG(2000)-N-Cy5 with RBCthe non-luminous membrane exhibits bright Cy5 fluorescenceenables visualization with fluorescence microscope.
