Uses
Bromelain is commonly used for bronchitis, bronchial asthma, acute pneumonia, postpartum breast hemorrhage, mastitis, postpartum thromboembolic venous fluid, retinitis, and other conditions. It is also used for inflammation, edema, and hematoma/thrombosis caused by various reasons. In combination with antibiotics, it is used to treat arthritis, periarthritis, cellulitis, leg ulcers, various respiratory inflammations, and urinary tract infections.
